The good news about GMT is that in as much as it is a group project, there are individual activities,the assignment is one of them and it counts 10 percent towards the final mark. For the assignment we had to collect data on ephemeral and investigate various cartographic techniques.
The cool part about this assignment is that there was no restriction, one could use any software. One pointer from me:take all the techniques you have learned from GMC 110 and GGY 283 seriously and include all map elements. You will be marked on aesthetics so be very creative and chose appropriate colors.
